Hello! My name is Benjamin Taubman and I am a third year student at Florida State University studying economics and international affairs. I am currently pursuing a career in journalism and have previously interned at places such as CNN and the U.S. Department of State! In highschool, I volunteered as an educator at a local South Florida animal sanctuary (Flamingo Gardens) and have been an environmentalist all my life. I love learning about all the different kinds of plants, animals, and ecosystems that inhabit our pale blue dot. I’m excited to join LegaSea to educate the public about our great blue ocean and how they can protect and preserve it! There are many issues facing our ocean, and the more people that know about them, the better! In my free time I love to read fiction novels and watch classic movies!
